Heidelberg & Zünd workshop

During the days Tuesday 17.01.2012 and Wednesday 18.01.2012 Heidelberg and Zünd had a workshop in Heidelberg's new facilities in Hvidovre. During the workshop several companies were visiting to get a demonstration of the workflow software, Prinect, from Heidelberg and Zünd cutting machine for sample-making and short-run production.

Zünd receives an award for the new Board Handling System

Altstätten, Switzerland (November 2011). Making it to the winners‘ podium again... The German printing industry’s prize for innovation was recently given out for the best print products of 2011 and their manufacturers. The new Board Handling System from Zünd Systemtechnik AG won 1st prize in the post-press technology category.

New Power Rotary Tool available

At JEC 2011 a new Power Rotary Tool (PRT) was launched. The PRT is suitable for cutting composite materials such as fiberglass, aramid, carbon etc. The tool can be set in 3 different rpm levels for cleanly cutting tough materials as well as those with low melting points.
Pressurized air keeps the cutting assembly free of residual fibers and other debris and also cools the motor. For more information about the new PRT - click here.
