The quick delivery time and flexibility required for this type of production can be realized only with digital cutting technology. Traditional methods, such as die-cutting , are simply too labour intensive and time consuming. Whether your materials are on rolls, boards or sheets, a Zünd cutter equipped with an automation system speeds up the cutting process dramatically. As an added benefit last-minute changes to cut files can be made easily and efficiently.

Move-it
Truly operator-free production!
Immediate cutting of series from a few sheets till overnight 24/7 production. Move-it is a fully automated loader and stacker which works in two zones for maximum productivity. It simply unloads and loads boards or sheets in one zone while the cutter is active in the other zone and vice versa. This ensures 100% production time on the cutter (no down time for feeding).
Move-it loads directly from a pallet, table or optional loading platform. The finished parts are loaded exact and direct to a pallet. Furthermore, Move-it is 100% compatible with Zünd conveyor roll feed systems - no interruption with unwind system and full access to roll-off and roll-up devices.

Sheet- and board feeder systems
Automated digital sheet- and board feeding systems are available for Zünd cutting tables.
A variety of materials can be auto fed, including flexible sheets and lighter boards with limited porosity, such as paper, cardboard and foamcore. Also board feeder systems are available for heavy rigid boards up to 45 kg/board.
The materials are placed in single or, if space allows, multiple stacks on the loading table. The sheet feeder is equipped with vacuum grippers that automatically feeds the sheet onto the cutter. The sheet will then be fed forward to the cutting area by conveyor system mounted on the cutter. After cutting the sheets wil be fed out onto an unloading table (option) with guides.

Semi-automated production
Create a semi-automated production workflow by combining the sheet loading facility, material transport system, and cutter extensions. A mechanical guide facilitates positioning of the next sheet/board while the cutter is still processing the previous one.
The advantages of this setup include:

No cutter downtime during removal of cut pieces.

The next sheet can be loaded at any time during the cutting process (freeing up the operator).

Actual stoppage between sheets is consistently short (approx. 20 sec.). | This sheet loading facility is ideal for situations where operators must attend to multiple cutters and/or concurrently perform other tasks.

Roll-off / unwinding systems
Various automated digital roll feeding systems are available for Zünd cutting tables. Whether your need is a simple unwinding unit for vinyl- and paper rolls or an advanced motordriven unwinding unit for heavy pvc and composite rolls or textile rolls where you need a constant low tension and a wringle-free unwinding process, we have the solution.
With a roll-off unit the material is automatically fed from the roll-off unit on the back of the cutter and into the cutting area by the material transport system where it is cut.
Various options such as collector trays (with and without waste separation), roll-up units, extension tables, etc. for handling the materials after the cutting process are also available.
